About Me

Samantha Phillips is a Cyber Studies PhD student at The University of Tulsa. Her research and schooling is supported through the Cyber Fellows initiative. Samantha's PhD research is focused on assessing organizational information security culture.

She graduated from TU in May 2022 with her B.S.B.A in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Cybersecurity. She is passionate about helping other people learn the importance of cybersecurity and how to keep themselves and their businesses safe. 

She has held various executive officer positions for the TU Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) chapter, including President. She is a member of TU's Collegiate Penetration Testing Competition (CPTC) team and Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) team. She is also the Treasurer for TU's Graduate Student Association.
